Kirby Kangaroo® Club (ages 12 and under)

Saving can be fun at North Star Community Credit Union with our Kirby Kangaroo Club. If you’re 12 and under, you can join the Kirby Kangaroo Club.

With the Kirby Kangaroo Club, you will learn how to use a financial institution, while developing good savings habits. Kirby Kangaroo Club members will receive their own membership card and a savings book to keep track of their deposits and withdrawals. Newsletters are sent out four times a year and birthdays are remembered with a card. Each year a party is given for all Kirby members.

A minimum deposit of $5.00 is required to open the account. To earn interest, a balance of $25.00 must be maintained. At that time, you will receive a “Penny the Pig” bank or a Kirby Kangaroo t-shirt. Kids can also purchase share certificates in minimum amounts of $100 for a 12 month term.
