Kirby Kangaroo® Club (ages 12 and under)
Saving can be fun at North Star Community Credit Union with our Kirby Kangaroo Club. If you’re 12 and under, you can join the Kirby Kangaroo Club.
With the Kirby Kangaroo Club, you will learn how to use a financial institution, while developing good savings habits. Kirby Kangaroo Club members will receive their own membership card and a savings book to keep track of their deposits and withdrawals. Newsletters are sent out four times a year and birthdays are remembered with a card. Each year a party is given for all Kirby members.
A minimum deposit of $5.00 is required to open the account. To earn dividends, a balance of $25.00 must be maintained. At that time, you will receive a “Penny the Pig” bank. Kids can also purchase share certificates in minimum amounts of $100.00 for a 12 month term.

Bright Star Share Draft Account (ages 13-24)

A share account with a minimum deposit of $5.00 is required to open the Bright Star Account. To earn dividends on the share account, a balance of $25.00 must be maintained.
With the Bright Star Account there is no minimum balance required for the share draft. You will receive 50 free checks, a free ATM or debit card, and there is no monthly service charge or per check charge.
