Online Banking Upgrades!
What you need to know:
We are excited to announce that North Star Community Credit Union will be upgrading our current online banking system! This new system will come with enhanced features and the addition of a mobile app. We want to keep you updated during this process so here are a few things to expect in the near future:
Thursday, December 1: Bill Pay will be temporarily unavailable from December 1 until the conversion is complete on December 5.
Friday, December 2: Users will not be able to make transactions after 6:30 p.m. CST, via online banking until we go live on Monday, all accounts will be read-only online.
Monday, December 5: We go live! Our new and improved online banking experience will be ready for you to use.
After December 5, you will need to re-enroll in online banking. These easy steps will help make the process easier!
Step 1 - Log on to our online banking site at www.nsccu.org using your current account number and password.
Step 2 - Please read and agree to North Star Community Credit Union’s Online and Mobile Banking Disclosure and Agreement. Select I Accept.
Step 3 - The Member Verification window will pop up, answer the questions accordingly.
Step 4 - Change your username and password, for security purposes, do not use your account number.
Step 5 - Passwords are case-sensitive and must include a minimum of 4 characters and a maximum of 10, 1 upper case letter, 1 number, and 1 special character; ! @ # % $ ^ & * _ + - = ( ) [ ] { } \ : ; , . / ?.
So what’s new?
New features of online banking and the mobile app include:
Reset your username and password yourself if you forget them by getting a code sent to the email or mobile phone number we have on file.
Enhanced alert system
Improved security features
Account-to-Account transfers to and from other financial institutions in which you have an account, using the “External Transfer” link.
Person-to-Person transfer allows you to securely send money to peers using the “Send Money” link.
Deposit your check into your North Star account from your mobile device using the Remote Deposit Capture feature on our mobile app using the "Deposit Check" link.

Why are you changing your internet banking platform?
We strive to provide our members with convenient, secure features to make their online banking experience a positive one. These upgrades will enhance the user experience and provide additional services to our members.
Will my old username (account number) and password work with the new online banking?
You will need to first log in to the new system with your old username (account number) and password and then the new system will prompt you to change the both.
If I use Bill Pay in the old system, will I need to retype all my vendors or recurring payments into the new system?
No, all of your current bill pay information will transfer over.
